National Football Events Honors Cheri Kardas
National Football Events is pleased to announce that our 2008 Honoree Of The Year is Cheri
Kardas.
Cheri Kardas has been active in the world of semi-pro football for 20 years. She began by assisting
the Operations Manager of the DuPage (IL) Eagles and was very involved during their 2 AFA
National Championships.
Cheri eventually became an owner of the Chicago Panthers and later the
Will County Buccaneers.
Cheri has been a director for over 10 years for the Midwest Football
Tournament and the Mid States Football Tournament.
She has
traveled to Hawaii with Team USA one year and with Minor League
Football News another year as a support staff member. She has
also been a key person in the development of National Bowl
Weekend, which just crowned its 4th annual national champion in
Fort Pierce, Florida.
In 2005 Cheri was inducted into the American Football Association’s
Hall of Fame.
We are very pleased and proud to recognize Cheri and invite you to join us with a reception at the
Tropicana Hotel & Resort in Las Vegas on Friday evening March 28, 2008.
